ZHAW Industry Hack @ open-i

Open-i is the leading innovation conference in Switzerland and will take place this year on November 21 and 22, 2024 at the Kongresshaus Zurich. ZHAW Entrepreneurship is conducting an Industry Hack (Innovation Sprint) at the Open-i with up to ten teams consisting of 3 to 5 Students.

What to expect:

• 24 hours of intensive design sprint & pitching
• Real-world industry challenges
• Teams of 4-6 students
• Support from experienced ZHAW mentors & industry experts
• Presentations of your ideas on the main stage of the open-i conference

How does it work?

We need some information from you so that we can avoid conflicts of interest and put together strong teams.

Please understand that we cannot consider all applications. On October 21, 2024 you will find out if you are included.

On November1, 2024, you will receive an invitation for digital onboarding. You will be digitally introduced to the topic of service design and receive further important information about the Innovation Sprint. We will also ask you to complete some tasks that will prepare you for November 21 and 22.

For the introduction and preparation, you should expect to spend around 4-6 hours. However, there are no fixed dates and you can plan your preparation individually.

After the Open-i, there will be a digital debriefing to assess and recognize your team's performance. This date is still pending and will be set together with the teams.

You will then receive confirmation and credit for your microcredentials.
