Startup-Lunch
New standards in the food service world
About this event
At the Food Service Perspectives 2030+ symposium, you will receive inspiration and the opportunity to look beyond the horizon of the food service industry.
Out-of-home catering in the catering trade, communal catering and especially in the care sector has its very own challenges. However, these often remain hidden in the current discussions about healthy eating, meat substitutes and service robots. With this conference, we want to create real perspectives for connections, cooperation and holistic change.
Christian Hamerle, co-initiator of the Food Service Innovation Lab Berlin, will open the event with a first insight into the changing world of food service. This world will be supplemented and scrutinised in the subsequent panel by voices from the agro-food system in order to master the new terrain. The goal is clear: to tackle the key challenges facing the industry, such as labour shortages, automation in production processes and ecologically sound practices. How and where can we build bridges between science, industry and start-ups to promote holistic ecosystems? What is our vision for the food service industry?
In breakout sessions in the second part of the event, you will have the opportunity to contribute your perspective and be inspired by various in-depth topics. An opportunity to exchange and (further) develop ideas.
The conference is driven by expertise, know-how and fresh thinking and offers a unique platform to discuss the evolving challenges and trends in the food service industry and to exchange ideas with innovative food service startups from the fields of robotics, personalised nutrition and novel food about the solutions of tomorrow.
The startups and their founders will accompany the conference with a startup fair. They will enable you to taste new foods and discuss the relevance and possible challenges of implementing them in your company with industry experts.
