CircularTech Summer School (BSc) 2025
This dynamic two-week program is designed for forward-thinking students eager to dive into the world of circular business models.
After this course you will have
Gain Insights: Ideal for students from diverse backgrounds, including business, engineering, design, and environmental sciences, who are passionate about sustainability and innovation.
- Understand Circular Principles: Delve into the principles of the circular economy and learn how it differs from traditional linear models.
- Apply Design Thinking: Use design-thinking methods to systematically develop ideas for new products and services aligned with circular economy principles.
- Create Prototypes: Design mock-ups of your product or service using various tools and methods introduced during the course.
- Leverage Customer Feedback: Learn the importance of customer feedback during the development process. Present your models to potential future customers, gain insights, and understand market needs and expectations.
- Pitch to Experts: Present your ideas to a panel of experts and receive practical feedback from seasoned professionals
Course Programme

Over two weeks, you will embark on a journey to understand the complexities and challenges associated with developing circular business models. Requirements
Open to all BSc students within and outside ZHAW and across all disciplines.
