Micro-credentials in Entrepreneurship

The ZHAW Summer Schools 2024 offered an enriching experience with new acquaintances, innovative ideas in CircularTech, FoodTech and HealthTech as well as valuable micro-credentials and EELISA credentials for sustainable contributions.

The ZHAW Summer Schools offer a diverse program in the field of Planetary Health, in which students learn to develop and test new Circular-, Food-, or HealthTech product ideas by harnessing real customer insights, collaborating with students across faculties and pitching to industry experts.

In addition to the generation of subject-specific knowledge, ZHAW Entrepreneurship is awarding a micro-credential in the areas of HealthTech, CircularTech and FoodTech Entrepreneurship for the first time. This micro-credential certifies the transversal entrepreneurial competences the participants acquired in the program as a valuable part of their professional qualifications. The international participation in the summer schools is particularly pleasing. Students from the universities BME Budapest, ITU Istanbul, FAU Erlangen/Nuremberg and UPM Madrid from the EELISA European University network enrich the program. As the Planetary Health Summer Schools also contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), EELISA also awards all participants with an EELISA Credential, which recognizes their social and/or sustainable commitment. These awards reflect the values of the EELISA communities and emphasize the importance of the SDGs in educational and professional life. More about EELISA here
